VALERIAAGOSTINI, as the administrator of its sites, is the Data Controller under art. 13 Legislative Decree 30.6.2003 n. 196 (Privacy Code) and art. 13 EU Regulation n. 2016/679 (GDPR).

What are personal and identification data

Personal and identification data include, for example: name, surname, company name, address, telephone, email, banking, and payment references. Such data may be necessary to use some services provided by VALERIAAGOSTINI, such as requesting information or posting comments.

What data is collected and why

B) Only with specific and separate consent [arts. 23 and 130 Privacy Code and art. 7 GDPR], for the following Marketing Purposes: – sending via email, mail and/or SMS and/or telephone contacts, newsletters, commercial communications and/or advertising material on products or services offered through VALERIAAGOSTINI and satisfaction surveys on the quality of services; – sending via email, mail and/or SMS and/or telephone contacts commercial and/or promotional communications from third parties related to the type of activity of VALERIAAGOSTINI (e.g., events VALERIAAGOSTINI participates in or cultural initiatives it promotes).

VALERIAAGOSTINI may send communications related to services and initiatives similar to those the registered user has already used, except for explicit dissent (art. 130, paragraph 4 Privacy Code).

Aggregated data and Statistics

VALERIAAGOSTINI will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill statutory purposes and not beyond 10 years from the termination of the relationship for Service Purposes; regarding marketing purposes, data will continue to be processed unless there is an explicit request to stop receiving communications and information, a cessation request that can be made at any time through the same channels through which communications are received from VALERIAAGOSTINI (mail, email, messaging).

Data access

Some of the collected data may be made accessible for administrative and tax management purposes, as previously described: – to appointees and collaborators of VALERIAAGOSTINI in Italy and abroad, in their capacity as internal appointees and/or data processors and/or system administrators; – to third-party companies or other entities (e.g., professional studios, consultants, cultural associations, etc.) that carry out activities in collaboration with or on behalf of VALERIAAGOSTINI, in their capacity as external data processors.

Without the need for explicit consent [ex art.24 lett. a), b), d) Privacy Code and art.6 lett. b) and c) GDPR], VALERIAAGOSTINI may communicate data for service purposes to Supervisory Bodies, Judicial Authorities, to insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, as well as to those subjects to whom communication is mandatory by law for the fulfillment of said purposes. These subjects will process the data as autonomous data controllers. The data will not be disclosed.

Pages and articles on our sites may include embedded content from other sites, such as videos, images, articles, graphics, and so on, which link to their originating sites.

These websites may collect data, use cookies, integrate additional third-party tracking, and monitor interaction with that embedded content, including tracking interaction if you have an account and are logged into that website.

Interaction with external sites is subject to their respective privacy and cookie policies. For example, accessing VALERIAAGOSTINI’s Instagram account through widgets will be monitored by Instagram according to its Privacy Policy.

Nature of data provision and consequences of refusal to respond

The provision of data for service purposes is mandatory as, in their absence, we cannot guarantee the requested services. Without identification data, for example, it is impossible to register on the site and post comments.

The provision of data for marketing and communication purposes is optional. The user can decide not to provide any data or later deny the possibility of processing data already provided. In this case, the user will not receive newsletters and communications related to the activities and initiatives of VALERIAAGOSTINI and its affiliates.

Rights on personal data

• Deletion, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed unlawfully.
• Certification that the operations mentioned above have been made known, even regarding their content, to those to whom the data was communicated or disseminated.

Users also have the right to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection. This includes the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for the performance of market research or commercial communication.

If applicable, users also have the rights under Articles 16-21 of the GDPR (right to rectification, right to be forgotten, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, right to object), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

Exercising rights

A user with an account on VALERIAAGOSTINI or who has left comments can request to receive an exported file of the data provided to the site or request the deletion of all personal data. This does not include data that VALERIAAGOSTINI is obliged to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
