Valeria is a Primary Languages Educator and developmental Researcher.
Currently, she is immersed in the vibrant educational landscape of London, serving as part of the Education Department at the Consulate General of Italy. Her role involves teaching Italian as a foreign language, employing the innovative CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach to create an immersive and enriching language learning experience.
She earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Birmingham, where she collaborates with the Centre of Developmental Science. Her interests focus on the relationship between multilingualism and cognitive development.
Spanning various cultural landscapes, her professional background includes roles as a Primary Languages Teacher in Italy, Germany, and the UK. In Germany she worked on a bilingual education project, a position appointed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
